which is intended for sites that are designed to be

mTLD Top Level Domain Ltd (MTLD) is a joint venture funded
by a consortium of companies including Hutchison, 3,
GSM Association, Ericsson, Google, Microsoft, Nokia,
Samsung Electronics, T-Mobile, and Vodafone

The registration chanrges will be Rs.7000 for one
year. Live Pages will register this domain through
mTLD on behalf of their customers. ( Minimum registration
period is of 2 years.)

.mobi registration must meet the following
conditions:
- Your organization has a registered trademark,
or applied for a trademark prior to July 11, 2005
- The name of the owner of the trademark and registrant
name has to be same. It is recommended to update/create
profile with the details same as the owner of the
trademark.
- The domain name must be identical to the textual
or word elements of the mark. If you own a trademark
registration for “sun & sand” and
qualify to register in .mobi, you may apply for <sunsand.mobi>, <sun-sand.mobi>,
or <sunandsand.mobii>. If the trademark contains
letters which contain additional elements that for
technical reasons cannot be reproduced in the domain
name, such as ä, é or ñ, the letters
concerned must, in the Domain Name, be reproduced
without these elements (such as a, e, n), or must
be replaced by conventionally accepted spellings
(such as ae for ä).
- The information in all other trademark fields should
be accurate.
- Please specify the actual country in which the
trademark was registered.
