The Brief
‘Binatone Lifestyle’ And ‘Binatone Communications’ are 2 major demarcations under brand ‘Binatone’. After a largely prosperous set up in the UK, Binatone expanded considerably in the 70s. Subsequently opening its first office in Lagos, Nigeria, the company launched its operations in India in 1984. Binatone Lifestyle has become a world leader in electrical appliances, with in-depth expertise in a clearly focused range of products.
Over the last 50 years, Binatone has been spreading convenience, ease and value across homes in 4 continents and 75 countries. At Binatone, we have always strived to identify trends and answer consumer needs with unique, affordable and well-designed products.
The Challenge
Binatone initially wanted us to revamp their old non-responsive website and maintain it under a yearly contract. Later we were approached by their global marketing head with the challenge of creating a fictitious chef under the name of ‘Aunt Bina’ and to manage a social campaign ‘Aunt Bina’s Kitchen’ which is all about sharing recipes of famous African dishes and bringing their easy-to-make and made-to-savour authentic African dishes to each and every one and make Binatone a household name. The idea was to promote Binatone products through the recipe videos.
Live Pages since December 2016 has been managing ‘End-to-End’ activities for all Binatone social channels including spends and developing web applications and enterprise mobile apps for their research, marketing and sales divisions.

There is more than 200% growth in user interaction on these channels and brand Binatone is now trending everywhere. Binatone Reviewer Apps, Sales App and New Product Request (Web Application) are all set to be launched in January 2019.
