The Brief

Yasin's Food Inn Restaurant is a very popular restaurant located in Lokhandwala, Andheri, Mumbai, specializes in serving delicious Veg and Non-Veg Mughlai food at reasonable rates.
The restaurant books around 600-700 online orders per day just through their Website, their Mobile App (Android and iOS) and Zomato (Food Delivery App) where FoodInn also ranks #1 in several countries for accepting the highest number of orders per month.

The Challenge

The client wanted us to build an app which had better UX than Zomato so that their loyal customers could get more benefits through their own FoodInn proprietary app. The challenge here was stiff because aggregator apps offer huge discounts, cash back schemes and a choice of other contending restaurants to its users.

The Plan

Knowing that we would have to build up an effective solution if we had to meet our clients expectations we proposed a full plan that included an Online Ordering Website, Mobile Apps (iOS & Android), Backoffice App, Integrated POS (Android) + Restaurant Management System, Delivery Tracking Mechanism(GPS), Smart Tables & Beacons (IoT), Social Media Management and Search Engine Optimisation.

Within 3 months we managed to develop most of the frontends and required backends for the marketing activities to get underway as we kept building other dashboards parallelly. In the first week of launch the most inspiring factor was that we were crossing 100 orders daily and on weekends we were hitting the 150 mark. We are now consistently netting more and more orders each day getting closer to our targets and so are the number of loyal users.
